Online Enrolment

All current undergraduate students are required to manage their own enrolment by re-enrolling online through eStudent in OASIS. The Enrolment Office will advise you about the re-enrolment through an Official Communication.

To enrol online, simply follow the step-by-step instructions in Quick Reference Guide through Oasis below:

  1. Log into OASIS
  • If you’ve never used OASIS, click Activate your account and follow the instruction on the screen. Once your account is activated, re-login to OASIS.

  • If you’ve forgotten your password, click Forgot your password and follow the instruction on the screen. If you’ve forgotten your secret question/answer, you will need to contact OASIS Central (click Contact Us at the top right of any OASIS screen) to have your password reset.
  • If once you login, you see a Password expired page, don’t worry. This just means that your password is more than six (6) months old and needs to be changed. Simply follow the instructions on the screen to change your password.
  1. Open eStudent
  • Click on the My Studies tab in OASIS.quick_ref_clip_image003
  • Then click on the eStudent button. eStudent will open in new window.quick_ref_clip_image004

    unit_enrol_clip_image008
  6. Units are marked as Core, Optional, or Elective. The process for enrolling in core units, options and electives is slightly different, so please read the instructions for each unit type in other website tab in this same page.
  7. In order to enroll in a unit, it must be “planned”. This means that it must appear on the Study Plan. Core units automatically appear on your Study Plan, but you must follow the instructions to in other website tab in this same page to add options and electives to your Study Plan.

A planned unit is a core unit, which is compulsory for your course and/or major. If you do not enroll in and pass these units, you cannot complete your enrolled course.

  1. Core units are indicated by a ‘C‘ icon
  2. Core units are already on your Study Plan, and are therefore already planned and ready for enrolment. Consequently, a star icon will be displayed beside the unit, and the unit will be highlighted purple in your study plan.

  3. If there is more than one possible selection for the planned core unit, there will be an Alternate link below the Course code. Click this to see all possible units and select your desired core unit.
  4. To select the core unit for enrolment you will need to choose your attendance mode (when and where) you wish to study the unit (see Attendance Modes Explained). ‘When and where’ (this is also called an availability) is automatically selected for a unit if only one availability exists; or if you are only eligible for one availability. If more than one availability exists you will need to choose, from the drop-down, ‘when and where’ you would like to study the unit.
